Mediation involves the intervention of a third-party; the mediator, into a dispute to assist parties in conflict to negotiate jointly acceptable resolution of issues in conflict. The mediator does not determine who is right and wrong, they merely assist the parties with facilitating dialog and ideas.
Overwhelmingly, most mediators are lawyers addressing legal matters or matters that can escalate to serious legal matters. In most legal mediations, the parties are represented by their respective attorneys who do the negotiating on their behalf with the mediator facilitating the proceedings.
The future of Mediation puts the power in your hands
We are the only mediation program in the world that facilitates dispute resolution through productive apologies. We take the focus off the use of legal counsel and empower resolutions through the words and actions of the parties involved by bringing the human element front and center.
